WebI just got a new 12 pro max and found this issue straight off the bat where I held my 11 side by side with the 12 Pro Max and found my 11 was brighter. I found a solution however. Since the dumb switch controls 12 lights (i.e. the 10 Ring ones, and the 2 Nora lights), you can’t really have an ‘either or’ situation.
